If i asked you if you had faith, would you say yes or would you say no?
The scriptures state ‘that faith is not a perfect knowledge but it’s a hope in things unseen’.
If i asked you if you thought the morning would come i am sure you would say yes, eventually. Or if i asked you if you thought your car would start when you needed it, you would probably reply ‘i hope so’.
These are things we cannot know about before they happen but because they have happened before we believe they will happen again. Of these things we have a fore knowledge but yet we still need to have the faith that they will happen again.
Faith comes from a tiny seed and can grow into a mighty tree but only if we feed our faith with the nutrients and some sunshine. We all go through periods in our life when everything seems dark and although we try hard to hold on to faith that the morning light will come it is sometimes difficult to do so. There are times when all we can do is sit it out and wait, sometimes there is nothing else we can do. This is faith.
This is faith because we can not see what the end result will be or where we are going but yet each moment we have to step into the dark in the hope that someone or something will shine a light to help guide our way. Sometimes no matter how much we want a ‘perfect knowledge’ we have to wait until everything is revealed. But, when we see everything is that still faith? or is that knowledge?

Great post… I think what you said about thee bible talking about faith as the hope if things unseen is correct. We have to have faith in God even though we have never seen him as it gives us hope we will one day be with him.
we have to have faith in every day things in the hope that one day we will live with God forever. Thank you for your comment.
I believe we lived with Him once and we will return to live wit Him again but sometimes the road of life can be a bit bumpy.
