I am one of those people who likes getting gold stars and having everyone jump up and down shouting hip hip hooray, but i guess an award is just as good.

I would like to thank wanton creation for giving me the The Reader Appreciation Award. Round of applause please, thank you very much it gives me great pleasure in accepting this award on behalf of myself and my many readers.

As with all these awards there is something to do and then i have to pass it on.

So… what have i been up to lately?

Today i went to church. In church i teach an adult Sunday school class. It was a little quiet today, i think it had something to do with the Queen and an extended bank holiday and we all like an  holiday. The class seemed to go well. Then i came home, ate a banana sandwich, said hello to the cat and fell asleep. Now i am writing this.

Also at church today i had the chance to cuddle a very tiny baby only 5 weeks old. He is called Harley and there is nothing so nice as cuddling a new baby. I hugged a few friends and sang in the choir, or i think that’s what they call what i was trying to do.

Other things – my daughter Grace got married and it was a super day.

I help people do their family history as well as my own.

And i read a lot, at the moment Harry Potter 5 and Ghost Train to the Eastern Star.

I am also on a 100 day real food challenge and it’s good so far.

So now i have to pass it on.
