Photo – It

Some time last summer i bought a new camera but it wasn’t until just before Christmas that i finally took it of auto. Over Christmas my daughter, Emily, who is a photographer, enlightened me a bit more and showed me and instructed me on some of the finer points of the lovely camera.

So this page in the middle of the week is a challenge to myself. It is going to be my photo day. A photo that as been taken in the last week using the said camera and not my phone, which is oh so easy to use – point and shoot. I am not allowed to use the auto button either.

So here is the photo. It is Tom who has decided that the window sill is a good place to sit, tree or no tree.

  1. I bet he’s very happy there – way high up (if you’re cat size) on a windowsill, with a tree to hide behind (until it’s time to take it down, at least!), and a view of everything that happens outdoors :D

  2. “what you lookin’ at?” he asks. What a great challenge to give yourself. I must confess to owning a camera that can do pretty much everything but cook dinner, AND, it is most often on Auto!
