Yes it’s a beautiful morning!

Last night i got to finally meet my granddaughter, Amelia Grace Rose and surprise her mummy (Emily) at the same time. You see, my other daughters Grace and Bethany and my son-in-law Adam all knew i was going to make the 100 miles trip by train to visit my granddaughter but Emily did not and Amelia doesn’t care.
It was a lovely evening. I spent some time with everyone and then i had a bit of time with Emily and Amelia. Amelia is being a bit naughty, actually she’s not she’s just hungry, she was wanting feeding every hour night and day or is that day and night? Any how it was too much and Grandma needed to step in and give mummy a hand. Mummy is feeding Amelia herself, which i think is a good thing but for whatever reason Amelia wasn’t getting enough. First mummy expressed some milk and Amelia downed 5 ounces and then we topped her up with some formula and she downed another 3 ounces and promptly fell asleep. Not seen them this morning yet so not sure if they got some sleep but i hope they did.
Sometimes you just have to do what you have to. It may not be the conventional way but if it works then go for it. If you are not sure if it will work then some times you just have to try it and see. Anyhow this morning i am not baby sitting i am cat sitting. My daughter Grace has two beautiful cats that are not much more than kittens and very playful especially when they think someone is awake and they have an audience. Milo has decided that my feet are something he must play with, however his claws are sharp and the duvet is not that thick, thanks Milo.

awww finally got chance to sit down and read your blog, such lovelyness as always and it was an amazing suprise and just at the time i needed you most, im so greatful for your help and now getting a bit more sleep, but babys will do what the y want too. Love you lots and will see you again soon.
as a mother you will learn what she needs and when she needs you loves to you both cant wait to see you again xxx
