The other day Marianne from 365 days asked just one question on her blog and it was this; ‘Who are you at your best?’ Well, this one questions got me thinking about ‘who am i at my best?’ This is what i came up with.
Being my best is not necessarily being what other people want me to be.
Being my best is walking my own road and allowing others to walk theirs.
Being my best is standing for what i believe is right.
Being my best is finding the talents God gave me.
Being my best is using those talents to help myself and others.
Being my best is when i eat properly and sleep properly too.
Being my best is teaching others.
Being my best is accepting that i cannot change the whole world, i can only change myself.
Being my best is finding time to have breakfast out in my favourite place with my favourite book.
Being my best is knowing i only have control over what i think, say and do, but not others.
Being my best is going to church and following God’s commands.
Being my best is kneeling in prayer and having faith to believe the words i am saying.
Being my best is being a daughter, a mother and a grandmother.
Being my best is being me!

beautiful
And you can only be the Best You can Be…. and that IS by being YOU..
But we try so hard to be something else x
