Finally there i am beginning to see space in my house and when my friend called round he noticed a change. So it looks like this challenge thing is a good idea.
day 8
Boots that were left here by one of the bridesmaids last May. They ended up in a box and other things ended up on top and then they were out of sight and out of mind. Well they are on their way home now.
day 9
a curver box that went to charity
day 10
another box- charity
day 10
a smaller box – charity
day 11
a very small box, just right for pens and things – charity
day 12
a lurking plastic throw away food tub, that finally got thrown away
day 13
a broken chair that is not repairable, i have tried, my dad has tried and a friend tried but the wood as just splintered – rubbish
day 14 & 15
one pair of jeans and one pair of trousers for charity and one pair of jeans for the bin
day 16
chamomile tea bags. I bought them months ago as i had read and read that they were relaxing and would be good for me. I don’t like chamomile tea but i gave them a go but it is time to give in and give up. Bye bye tea bags, bye bye chamomile – rubbish.
day 17
i have bits of left over wires all over my house. These don’t even fit my computer so its time for them to leave – charity.
day 18
desk top computer. Yes, that is what it all is and a screen. My daughter is talking it to university has her laptop isn’t very well.
day 19
Old CD’s. Some in cover and some are not – charity.
day 20
old and beaten trainers – rubbish
day 21
a flask that is too big for me – charity
NB: a word of warning check through things carefully before throwing away. My daughter told me she didn’t want anything in a particular box, but look what i found – i think she might want this!
ps i have no idea why it turned side ways – its her degree certificate!!

You’re so funny mummy. Thank you for saving my degree
i am glad i am amusing you, but you did say throw it all out
Yay Beverley! It’s amazing what’s hiding in our homes, isn’t it? Some treasures, and some things that could be someone else’s treasures, and then there’s just plain junk.
all my children have been to university and then come home for a little while before going it alone. however their post university junk has got lodged at my house, but it is time it all went one way or another.
I still have an assortment of my kids’ junk around too.
why??
Inertia, I guess – I got tired of fussing about it.
Time to start nagging again, though.
Just tell them it is all going out, they can come and get it or it will be trash/charity
